3 Ways Gratitude has improved my life

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and family across the country, this time of year always brings light to what I am thankful for. This week I have been working on creating abundance in my life which starts with being grateful for the things I have in my life.

I've also been trying to reduce my stress levels, (aren't we all) because running your own business is so satisfying but seriously stressful! 😣

I remember times in my life when I haven't shown gratitude; at work - when I expected people to do their job and so thanking them for little things seemed more monotonous than necessary. Not thanking my mother enough for all the sacrifices she made for me and my siblings. To my partner for being there. And many more. I am thankful for all of these things now and I don't take them for granted.

Gratitude has shown me a few things in the past year:

1. I can't do things alone

"..it takes a village..." There have been many times through the past year when I have felt VERY alone. I am thankful for the people in my life that push me forward, kept me company, had an open ear to listen and were just there.

Without these people, I would not be going after my dreams. Without these people I wouldn't have opportunities come to me. Without these people I wouldn't be able to SEE, HEAR or BE.

2. I am richer than I think 🤑

I've recently been basically brainwashing myself to BELIEVE that money is just energy and is ever abundant. I know, it sounds crazy...but I'm on Day 8 and it's been an interesting experience.

This is what I have learned so far: Money doesn't make you happy. It ebbs and flows. There will always be more.

When I think about the times in my life when things were good money didn't seem to be an issue. For instance, presently, I'm making less than half I did last year, but life is good! I'm not struggling to pay my bills, I'm not drowning in debt, in fact I am managing my debt the best I ever have in my life!

3. My health is my wealth 💪🏼

I'm not in the best health of my life, but I am grateful for having the knowledge of using my intuition. I've gone through ups and downs when my health is in question. I've been steps away from a heart attack without knowing it. I have knees made out of velcro and shoulders of steel. But I am learning new things every day to make life better.

Currently, I am going through a neuroplasticity exercise where I am reprogramming my brain to use my core muscles to engage movement instead of my trapezoids and hip flexors. For more information, click here.

There are other things that gratitude has revealed clarity on, but I want to know:

WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR?

🙏🏼

Until the next time,

Eat well. Work Hard. Seize Wellness.

XO,

Corrine
